A study in honest materials and clean structural design, this handcrafted sling stool pairs solid steel with thick bison hide to create a piece that is both functional and sculptural.
Each stool is built by hand from 1/2" solid steel rod, welded, finished, and powder coated in a durable satin black finish. The seat is formed from a single piece of ultra thick bison hide, carefully cut, shaped, and secured with exposed rivets that highlight the stool's utilitarian construction and character.
The tensioned leather seat naturally conforms to the body, creating a surprisingly comfortable perch while developing a rich patina with age and use. Designed to work equally well as a catch-all, occasional seat, or accent piece, its minimalist profile fits seamlessly into modern, industrial, rustic, and architectural interiors alike.
